Munich — Day 3
Suggested: Dachau Memorial, Viktualienmarkt, Nymphenburg Palace, or BMW Museum.

Munich — Day 4
Free day — Dachau Memorial, BMW Museum, Nymphenburg Palace, or a long session in the English Garden.

Oktoberfest
The big one. Theresienwiese. Litre steins, lederhosen, live brass bands. Tent reservation essential.
21 Sep (Sun)
Oktoberfest
Day 2 at Oktoberfest, or recover and explore more of Munich at your own pace.
22 Sep (Mon)
Hire car pickup + Salzburg Day Trip
Collect hire car in Munich. Drive to Salzburg — depart 8am, ~1.5h. Mozart's birthplace, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Gardens. Back by 5pm. Car kept overnight for 5am Prague departure.

Sir John Monash Centre (Villers-Bretonneux) — free timed entry, book the slot ahead of time.

Anne Frank House (Amsterdam) — books out weeks ahead. Do this NOW.

Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam) — also timed entry, book in advance.

Hire Car Note

Pickup Munich city 22 Sep. Used for Salzburg day trip same day, then 5am Prague drive 23 Sep. Drop-off Prague. Confirm AT/CZ cross-border permission with the operator (Sixt, Hertz, or Europcar). One-way fee approximately €150.
